Looking at some of Matisse’s Odalisques
I can see how simply they are painted.
I, no doubt, can easily copy them
gifted as I am.

Listening to Mozart’s symphonies
I can hear how simple his melodies are.
I can whistle the tunes with, easily
gifted as I am.

Their works of art, however,
are all the same simply theirs
and definitely not mine
gifted as I am.
