strong emphasis
on its fearful symmetry

begging for
some more time
he sneered at Him – and
went aboard his spacecraft

Off he took
into outer space
at multiple speed of light
leaving far behind
life and death

Towards immortality
oh infinite joy
transfiguration
eternity
safe.

Years after voyage
through no world’s space
he asked himself:
What’s the time?
No answer.

On his spherical screen
