impending expiration
into nightly worlds.

From leaden anthracite
into dark red and orange
then tints of apricot
to tinges of pastel yellow
morning fanfare rays
dark azure eastern rise
dazzling hero sun
brilliant and boisterous
erect and lecherous
into cloudless skies.
